Here are some pieces of writing that I've written. It reflects me and my writing. The pieces show the way I write and how I reflect my life with words.


The Sound

The sound of my dad’s car’s tires squeaking

Into the cold pavement of the inhabited garage

The sound of the trembling mad engine finally cooling off

And the sound of the heavy door slowly squealing open

The sound of the solid footsteps stomping on the floor

The sound of the door knob opening

Those were the sounds that let me know my hero was home

Those were the sounds that excited my whole body

And turned the mean gloom in my face to a warm smile

As his footsteps sounded louder, my heartbeats as well

I ran all across the house to welcome my dad

And as soon as he opened the door

Those sounds all combined into one

The sound of his deep voice greeting me

Those are the sounds my dad made that are still kept deep inside my heart

All our relationship was a big lie

Maybe all in my mind was just an illusion I had

Maybe it wasn’t meant to last

She wasn’t the girl for me

My heart was bedazzled by the idea that I had found her

She who could really move me

She who made me want to be the best I could

But no

My heart was blind

And my mind tricked

She wasn’t meant to be

It is such a dull color

A depressing and unanimated one

All it represents for me

Is that something is not going right

That someone is not feeling good

That something in the air is contaminated

That somebody’s heart is contaminated

That hatred is dominant

That somebody is hurt and crying

That everything in the world is senseless

That everything tastes bitter and pungent

This is the new BMW 3 series sedan my family got. I really like this car because of its agility and its power. It has a diesel engine, and because of the raised gas prices, that is very beneficial in Guatemala. This is the first car I've had for myself and I really think it's a complete beauty. This car is perfect for going out with my friends during the weekends and enjoy the day. I would like to make some changes on this car such as the exhaust tip and the sound system.
